What is the Small Business Strategy Premium Course?
​ALSTNTEC’s Signature 10-Week Small Business Strategy Course Premium (SBSC) is the original and only course of its kind that caters to the need of new small business owners for the past ten years. This program aims to educate, prepare, and motivate aspiring business owners who have a viable concept and ready to launch their business, or need additional help with their existing business.

Who is eligible to take the course?
This course is for anyone who have a business idea and want to start a business. This course is also for home-based business owners, established owners who are struggling and need help, or anyone seeking to improve their business situation.

Where are classes held and who can attend?

ALSTNTEC only service students who reside in the United States, is a U.S Citizen, and 21 years or older at the time of registration.

All classes are held virtually. Unfortunately registered students who travel outside the U.S during class times will not be allowed to connect to our video conference platform because our company is not licensed to teach students outside of the U.S. ​

We can provide in-person classes in DC, Maryland, and some areas in Virginia in the afternoons at a designed location hosted by a sponsoring organization. Sponsoring organizations have the option to host classes virtually as well.​​​​​​​

What type of business can I start when attending this course?
​This course helps our clients start any type of business entity such as Sole Proprietor, General Partnership, Limited Liability, Limited Partnership, Corporation, and Non-Profit. This course caters to all types of industries or career field such as Hair & Beauty, Medical, Transportation, Administration, Consulting, information technology, and many more.

How many days of the week I must attend class?
​Our course meets once per week for 10 weeks. These weeks are necessary to complete required assignments and receive guidance from the facilitator.

What day and time will classes start?
All SBSC courses are held one day during the week for 3 hours from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. EST. The day of the week is determine when the next available time the facilitator is able to teach the class.

What is the class size?
Minimum class size is 10 to 20 students for SBSC courses. We keep the size small to give individualized and personalized mentoring to students.​

Will I have a completed Business Plan if I attend the Course?
Yes, A business plan is very complex document to write and can take quite a bit of time. In the class, we will teach you how to draft a business plan and get it close to completion so you can leverage it for business opportunities. However, the work depends on your "level of effort" to complete the required assignments and activities. The business plan is a "living document". This means it will be updated with as your business grows.

Will I be required to complete homework assignments to pass the course?
Yes. All homework assignments will be graded. These assignments are necessary to keep students accountable in order to help them draft the business plan in a timely fashion. It also helps reinforce and retain instruction taught in the class. All students must complete all assignments to pass the course and receive a certificate of completion.

​Are there any discounts?
There are no individual discounts unless there is a promotion. Group discounts are given on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for more information.

​How do I pay for classes?
Payment for classes can be done via our website. Full payment is due in full prior to attending class. If full payment is not received prior to start of class, the student will receive a refund less an $350.00 administrative fee for holding the seat and processing student registration. However, partial payments are accepted via PayPal Later during checkout. If PayPal Later is not an option, contact us at email at info@alstntec-smallbusiness.com to discuss payment options.

Is there a refund?
By registering for this course, participants acknowledge and agree to the following refund and cancellation terms. Refunds are not available once a participant has attended any portion of the course. Cancellations submitted at least five (5) days prior to the course start date may be eligible for a refund, less an administrative processing fee. Cancellations made fewer than five (5) days before the course start date are not eligible for a refund. These policies allow us to effectively plan, allocate resources, and maintain program quality.

However, If after class starts and a student is unable to complete the course due to an unforeseen circumstance, e.g. emergency or physically cannot attend, they can contact our office and discuss options.
