This comprehensive 3 1/2 hour workshop is designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs build a strong foundation for entering government and corporate contracting. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how to prepare their business, navigate contracting systems, and position themselves to pursue real opportunities.

• Learn how to complete the Prince George's County Small Business Certification Application

• Learn how to complete the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) MBE Application

• Understand how government contracting works (federal, state, local)

• Select the right NAICS codes for their business

• Identify where and how to find contracting opportunities

• Understand RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs at a foundational level

• Learn how to position their business to compete
